This is an e-mail discussion group focusing on the Uniform Commercial Code. It is presented by the editors of the UCC Reporting Service as a free service to legal practitioners. Law students are encouraged to monitor the list as well. This list is monitored for “spam,” indecipherable postings, and inappropriate content, by the editorial staff of Thomson Reuters legal publications. Beyond that, Thomson Reuters exercises no functions and assumes no responsibility for the List, the views expressed therein, or any use to which the postings or the member list may be put. Members are asked to use discretion and consideration in using this service and not to share or forward posted messages or names outside the list without first obtaining permission. The UCC Reporting Service and other UCC-related publications are published by Thomson West. Technical assistance in the operation of the list is graciously provided by the Washburn University Law School, Topeka, Kansas. To post a message to all the list members, send email to ucclaw-l@lists.washlaw.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to UCCLaw-L
Subscribe to UCCLaw-L by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
