Dear HeinOnline subscribers,

 

We continually test HeinOnline's functionality to ensure that HeinOnline operates correctly and efficiently with new and upgraded web browsers and other software commonly used around the world.  As we certify these new and upgraded products, we include them on our Technical Requirements page (http://heinonline.org/front/front-tech).

 

It has come to our attention that at least one HeinOnline subscriber is using Nitro PDF.  After researching and testing Nitro PDF, we cannot certify this product for use with HeinOnline.  We spoke to representatives of Nitro PDF, and unfortunately they do not plan to upgrade their product in the foreseeable future to work properly with scanned PDF images (which is the format of the pages in HeinOnline and countless other online image-based databases).
