[Deathpenalty] death penalty news----World Coalition meeting in WASH. DC

There is only one week to go before the International Conference of the World 
Coalition Against the Death Penalty!

  *  The conference will take place from 22-23 June at the Catholic University 
of America in Washington D.C., Aquinas Hall

The two-day meeting will begin with an Opening session on Thursday, June 22. 
This event will be an excellent opportunity to network with officials,
intergovernmental organizations, bar associations, scholars, NGOs and 
activists, who are committed to the abolition of the death penalty all over the
world.

The conference will also be a good time to talk about the death penalty in the 
USA in the context of the new administration and to discuss the death
penalty and poverty, the theme of the 15th World Day Against the Death Penalty.
