IRAN:
More executions in Iran
As unrests in Iran's northwestern provinces continue and people from other
parts of the country express their solidarity with their uprising, the
regime is imposing more repression across the country.
In the meantime executions have continued and the state-run media have
been reporting of new cases everyday.
According to Aftab-e Yazd state-run daily a man who was identified by his
first name, Hamid, has been sentenced to death in Tehran. He is 30 years
of age.
Another state-run daily, Sharq, reported yesterday that a man identified
as Reza, 37, has been sentenced to death and it has been endorsed by the
regime's supreme court. He is expected to be hanged soon.
